RSF: “Let’s not allow Beijing to stifle press freedom in Hong Kong”

NewsChristophe Deloire, the secretary-general of Reporters Without Borders (RSF) calls on the world’s democracies to take action to prevent Beijing from imposing a national security law in Hong Kong that will be used as means to prosecute journalists.The 23rd anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China this July 1st, comes at a time of deep concern for the future of freedoms in the former British colony.
