The shameful ledger of Saudi human rights abuses accrues by the day. Since Mohammad bin Salman became the Kingdom's crown prince in 2017, the list includes the jailing and alleged torture of prominent Saudi women's rights activists, a mass execution in April of largely Shia citizens convicted in unfair trials and the murder of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The Saudi government has denied the crown prince's involvement in the murder. And the capital trial of Murtaja Qureiris, an 18-year-old who was facing the death penalty for offenses he allegedly committed when he was just 10 or 11 years…
