Amos Toh

Amos Toh is senior researcher, artificial intelligence and human rights, at Human Rights Watch. Before joining HRW, he served as legal advisor to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right to freedom of opinion and expression and was a clinical teaching fellow at the University of California (Irvine) School of Law. As legal advisor, he coordinated the Special Rapporteur’s research and advocacy on digital rights and internet freedom. Amos was formerly Counsel and Katz Fellow at the Brennan Center of Justice, where he worked on government surveillance reform and religious profiling issues.…
