Indonesian reporters deliberately attacked in post-election rioting

NewsReporters Without Borders (RSF) calls on protesters and riot police who have been clashing for the past two days in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, to respect the work of journalists. RSF also urges the Indonesian authorities to quickly investigate the press freedom violations that have taken place during this post-election rioting.Seven attacks on journalists have already been registered during last night’s clashes alone.
