L'Organisation internationale pour les migrations (OIM) a reçu un mandat en décembre 2016 pour aider à secourir les migrants vulnérables du Ghana bloqués en route vers l'Europe. Le plan était de ramener 650 hommes et femmes dans leurs foyer d'ici trois ans. Cette semaine, l’OIM a atteint - et dépassé - cet objectif initial, rapatriant ainsi son 1001e bénéficiaire ghanéen dans le cadre d’une campagne qui a dépassé toutes les attentes.
