International Criminal Court Marks 20th Anniversary

The International Criminal Court marked the 20th anniversary this week of the treaty that created it, with expectations growing about its effectiveness as it moves toward maturity.  The so-called Rome Statute establishing The Hague-based court was adopted in the Italian capital on July 17,1998.
