Stranded Iraqi Refugees in Syria Say Unable to Return Home Due to Sectarian Targeting

About 18,000 Iraqi Sunni civilians who fled Mosul due to continued violence are still living in shelters in al-Hawl refugee camp in the Kurdish enclave of Hasakah in Northern Syria. Even after the Islamic State’s defeat, the refugees say they can face a grave risk from Shiite militias if they return. VOA’s Zana Omar reports.
