Les forces armées égyptiennes doivent cesser immédiatement d'utiliser des bombes à sous-munitions, a déclaré Amnesty International mercredi 14 février, après la publication par l'armée d'une vidéo officielle contenant des images de bombes à sous-munitions filmées dans le cadre de ses récentes opérations dans le nord du Sinaï.
