Hundreds Of Pikachus Parade Down Japanese Street

by Jeff DonlanFans decked out in Pokémon outfits to cheer for a parade of 1,500 Pikachus on the streets of Yokohama, Japan, this week. The fourth annual “Pikachu Outbreak” festival kicked off in celebration of the Pokémon character. But for those who missed the first parade, there is still time to see the bouncing, smiling, balls of sunshine. Yokohama will be hosting daily parades for the beloved video game and cartoon character. This year, there will even be a citywide Pokémon GO tournament added to several other ongoing events across the city.
