Black Friday Not Indicative of Healthy Economy

It’s Black Friday again in the United States, so-called because the first Friday after Thanksgiving not only marks the first day of the holiday shopping season -- it’s also the day many retailers hope to start moving into the black - as in profits. This year, the sales and the deep discounts started early with retailers hoping to take advantage of improving consumer sentiment and pent-up demand. Mil Arcega has more for VOA.
