4 Killed in China Earthquake

Chinese officials say an earthquake has hit a thinly populated area of western China, leaving at least four people dead and more than 50 injured. The U.S. Geological Survey put the magnitude of the quake at 5.9 at a depth of 14 kilometers and said it struck late Saturday afternoon about 30 kilometers from the county of Kangding in Sichuan province.
