Mercredi 2 juillet 2014, pour la première fois depuis son départ de l'Élysée, Nicolas Sarkozy est sorti de sa retraite médiatique en répondant aux questions de Gilles Bouleau (TF1) et de Jean-Pierre Elkabbach (Europe1). L'occasion de vérifier si, comme le journaliste vedette d'Europe1 l'affirmait en mai, il ne pratique "ni la complaisance, ni la complicité".
