Clashes in Egypt

--STORY CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES -- ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The bloodied face of student protester at Al-Azhar University in Cairo was seen as he was carried by a crowd to an ambulance outside the institution's campus on Sunday as battles with police at the university continued into a third day. Crowds were seen carrying the student and putting in into an ambulance, where medics began treating him before the ambulance drove off. Al-Azhar, a respected center of Sunni Islamic learning, has for months been the scene of protests against what the recently-outlaw Muslim Brotherhood calls a "military coup" that deposed Islamist Mohamed Mursi as president in July after a year in office. Students were seen throwing rocks from campus buildings, while local residents threw rocks back at them, standing among a sea of strewn debris in the street and armored vehicles nearby.
