Amateur video which can not be independently verified by Reuters shows smoke filled the streets where dead bodies become part of the landscape. At least 42 people, including children, were killed after Syrian army helicopters dropped improvised "barrel bombs," in parts of Aleppo according to The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Barrel bombs are explosive-filled cylinders or oil drums that are often rolled out of the back of helicopters with little attempt at striking a particular target.
