Study: Health Care Costs Climb with Weight Gain

Being overweight is not only bad for your health, it’s also expensive. New research, health care costs increase in parallel with body mass measurement. The researchers found that costs associated with medical and drug claims rose gradually with each unit increase in body mass index (BMI).
