D'après le Haut Commissariat des Nations Unies pour les réfugiés (HCR), des conflits anciens et nouveaux, notamment en Syrie, en Afghanistan, en Iraq et en Somalie, ont contribué à une augmentation de 8% des demandes d'asile dans les pays industrialisés en 2012.
