Read in Arabic (بالعربية) Albert Saber Ayyad, a Coptic Christian blogger who was arrested on 13 September after a neighbour accused him of heading an “atheist” group on Facebook, was sentenced to three years in prison by a court in a Cairo suburb on 12 December on a charge of denigrating religions.
