Marilyn Monroe shines in Poland

Fifty years after her untimely death in 1962, Marilyn Monroe is still one of the most enduring icons of all time. And the famed star still draws a crowd - even in Warsaw, Poland where 60 of her unpublished photographs were put together in an exhibit titled 'Marilyn Monroe's Hollywood.' The collection of almost 3800 images were shot by celebrity photographer Milton Greene. They ended up in Poland in 1995 as part of a settlement in a legal case involving a U.S. businessman. But that history didn't scare away Polish fans who were excited to be among the first to see the rare pictures. SOUNDBITE: Exhibition Viewer, Agnieszka, Saying (Polish) "It's fantastic that this collection is in Poland. It came here because of an affair which has negative connotations, but this is the positive side of it." SOUNDBITE: Exhibition Viewer, Jolanta Kora, Saying (Polish) "It's very nice, I think Milton Greene captured Marilyn the best out of all photographers." The exhibit is open to the public for about a month until the whole collection will be sold at auction.
