Timor-Leste: UN calls for urgent action to ensure rights of persons with disabilities

Despite progress in advancing the rights of persons with disabilities, Timor-Leste needs to take urgent action to prevent discrimination and provide equal opportunities, especially in access to voting and education and fighting gender-based violence, the United Nations warned today.
