Le Secrétaire général des Nations Unies, Ban Ki-moon, a rencontré le Président uruguayen José Mujica mardi, au début d'une visite de deux jours dans le pays. Ce fut l'occasion de remercier l'Uruguay pour sa contribution au travail des Nations Unies, notamment aux opérations de maintien de la paix.
