British NGO consultant freed in Somalia

After the intervention of local elders Frans Barnard was released unharmed this morning. The man, who was born in Zimbabwe, was kidnapped in the night 14/15. October 2010 in Adado in Central Somalia and not far from the Ethiopian border together with his Somali interpretor Moalim Bashir Lugey, who had been released already earlier and shortly after the nightly attack.
