Public talk of the Dalai Lama in Montreal, October 3

EDUCATING THE HEART: THE POWER OF COMPASSION. The Dalai Lama will deliver a public talk on October 3, 2009 at the Bell Centre.

Program



Doors open, Tibetan Music from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Performance, Tibetan dance from 2:00 PM to 2:20 PM
Break from 2:20 PM to 2:30 PM
Michel Rivard, song & guitar, from 2:30 PM to 2:34 PM
Public Talk - the Dalai Lama from 2:35 PM to 4:00 PM
Tibetan skit from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM

*Security checks will delay entry at the doors by up to 30 minutes. We ask that you arrive by 1:30 pm. Entertainment begins at 2:00 PM, followed by the public talk at 2:30 PM. Please plan to be in your seat before the Dalai Lama begins speaking.

Please note that the Dalai Lama will speak in English with translation by:

Matthieu Ricard as His French interpreter
Thupten Jinpa as His English interpreter (as needed)

Proceeds from ticket sales will go to support youth employment opportunities in the Tibetan refugee Community in India.
