Je viens d’apprendre le décès de Mavis Gallant. Je voudrais lui rendre hommage et évoquer une amitié d’une cinquantaine d’années. A la sortie d’un recueil de ses nouvelles, en anglais, je lui ai consacré un article dans le Devoir. Elle en fut à la fois surprise et contente.
