    <description>Bangalore (India) - I was making my first visit to a day care center for spastic and disabled children in Bangalore. Our bike had just had a skid and we were saved except for our skin that suffered few scratches at places. While I ordered for two bottles of mineral water to quench my thirst after the long bike ride, a wide mouthed child with wide open eyes wished me good morning. I couldn&amp;rsquo;t make meaning out of his verbal uttering and it was translated to me by a teacher.

    <description>Twelve year old Dhadamani was working as an agricultural bonded labor for two years. His mother had taken a loan of Rs 7000 (146 $) from a money lender for the medical treatment of his father. As she was unable to pay back the loan she made Dhadamani to discontinue going to school and sent him to work as a bonded labor for Rs 5000 (104 $) a year.
