Rome - According to the latest information we have received, 361 Eritrean refugees (including 94 women, 10 children, 4 teenagers and a pregnant woman) fled from the UNHCR Shegerab Camp in an attempt to reach Northern Sinai. They later fell into the hands of Bedouin traffickers.  (Full Story)

As co-president of the organization for human rights EveryOne Group, I togetheter with my colleagues, Matteo Pegoraro and Dario Picciau have sent an appeal to international institutions about this new act of persecution against gay people in Africa. EU Parliament and Council. The need for a directive on civil unions between same-sex couples

Rome - After the motions sent to the European Institutions in 2006, 2008 and 2010, which have been taken up and supported by major organizations for homosexual rights, EveryOne Group has sent a new letter to the political institutions of the European Union – Parliament, Commission and Council – asking them for a serious debate, and to approve a Directive on civil unions between same-sex couples, rights for LGBT couples and programmes for the younger generations teaching awareness and respect for all forms of sexual orientation.
