Frank Guttman
retired professor of Pediatric Surgery, McGill University
Frank Guttman is a retired professor of Pediatric Surgery at McGill University and former head of the department at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. In medicine, he is the author of over 100 papers and eleven book chapters. Since his retirement, he has earned an MA in history from McGill University. His main interest is in Quebec history. He is the author of ''Senator Télesphore-Damien Bouchard. The Devil from Saint-Hyacinthe'', a biography of Télesphore-Damien Bouchard, (1881-1962), a liberal,  two generations ahead of his time.  He is now working on a biography of Honoré Beaugrand, another neglected figure in Quebec history.
