Philippines Students Gather for Art — and a Shot at a Guinness Record

Nearly 17,000 students in the Philippines gathered in a park in the capital, Manila, on Saturday in a bid to set a record for the world’s biggest art class. Middle school pupils from about 200 schools listened for about an hour as a teacher taught them how to draw a mask. “I learned a lot,” said one of the students, Kathleen Pareno.
