Truck Plows into Berlin Market; 9 Deaths, Multiple Injuries Reported

A truck has plowed into a crowded open-air Christmas market in the center of Berlin, killing at least nine people and injuring as many as 50 others. Police say the truck ran into the market Monday evening outside the landmark Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. A short while later, police began describing the crash as intentional and said the driver was in custody.
