Magnetic Device Enhances Laparoscopic Surgery

Minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery is being used around the world. Together with finer, more precise instruments, surgeons are also developing new procedures that lower discomfort and bleeding for the patient, leading to faster healing. A Chilean doctor and his team invented a new method that lowers the number of required incisions. VOA's George Putic reports.
