A sugar tax in Australia: how would it work? – video

A new report from the Grattan Institute thinktank has called for a tax on sugary drinks, which it says contain no nutritional benefit, are consumed heavily by children and are a leading cause of obesity. It also claims that the tax, which would add about 80 cents to the price of a two-litre bottle of soft drink, would cut consumption by 15% and raise $500m a year in revenue
