Blast in SE Turkey Wounds Governor, 2 Others

An explosion at a district governor's house in Mardin province, southeastern Turkey, wounded three people Thursday, including the local governor. The blast happened in the town of Derik, situated between Diyarbakir and the Syrian border. Turkish state media said the cause was a rocket attack by rebels from the Kurdistan Worker's Party, or PKK, and that security forces were searching for those responsible.
