Tom Ford on Nocturnal Animals: 'I'm conflicted about what I do' – video interview

Nocturnal Animals is the second film directed by fashion bigwig Tom Ford, an adaptation of Austin Mitchell’s celebrated 1993 novel Tony and Susan. Amy Adams plays an art gallery owner who is disturbed by the manuscript of a novel her former husband sends her: it’s about an academic (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) whose family is assaulted while on a road trip across Texas. Ford, Adams, and co-star Aaron Taylor Johnson talk about adapting the book, what Ford’s background in fashion brought to the film, and how his childhood in Texas influenced the script.•Nocturnal Animals is released on 4 November in the UK, 10 November in Australia, and 18 November in the US
