Raising the hourly rate for some of the nation’s lowest-paid workers has been a key issue in this election season dominated by talk about bringing jobs back to America. VOA’s Katherine Gypson traveled to Portland, Maine to see how voters view a ballot question that could raise pay for minimum-wage workers and dramatically impact the state’s economy.
