Babacar is gone. The news hit us this morning, so hard, so ununderstandable, so painful. His smile, his calm demeanour, he stood for hope for a world slightly more humane. Babacar was the picture of elegance, the elegance found in the hearts of the most just. He was a husband, a father, he was our friend.
