Heavy Rains, Deadly Flooding Hit Southern US

Torrential rains in the southern U.S. state of Louisiana have prompted Governor John Bel Edwards to declare a state of emergency. Officials say two bodies have been pulled from the extreme flooding conditions in southeastern Louisiana, including New Orleans. Southern Mississippi and Alabama are also experiencing the heavy downpours. A large portion of the region is under a flood watch warning through Sunday.
