The opening ceremony for Rio's Olympic Games got under way Friday evening with a roaring crowd of tens of thousands in Rio de Janeiro's Maracana Stadium and a pop song expressing love for Brazil. Some 3 billion people were expected to watch the ceremony on television. More than 200 Olympic teams participated, including the first team of refugees to band together and compete.
