Washington, DC Transit Police Officer Arrested on Terrorism Charges

The U.S. Department of Justice has announced the arrest of a Washington, D.C. transit police officer with attempting to provide support to the Islamic State (IS). Nicholas Young, 36, of the Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) is accused of giving 22 gift card codes, worth nearly $250, to an undercover Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent.
