2 Police Officers Shot in San Diego; 1 Dead

One police officer was killed and another seriously injured in a shooting early Friday, in the U.S. city of San Diego, the city's police chief said. The shooting reportedly took place in a neighborhood just after the officers made a traffic stop.  Nearby officers came to the scene to find both officers shot, one of them with multiple gun shots to the chest.
