Fears Grow That Attacks Like Nice Are Future of Jihad

The initial investigation by French officials into the deadly attack on Bastille Day celebrations in Nice has yet to show any definitive links to terrorism. But there is fear that such lack of clarity is part of a trend in which the Islamic State terror group – and others like it – are finding ways to weaponize petty criminals and others on the fringes of society.
