Poll Finds Rise in Jordanian Support for Battle Against IS

A new poll shows more support among Jordanians for fighting Islamic State extremists, but also a sharp rise in dissatisfaction with the economy. The survey by the International Republican Institute, a U.S. think tank, was published Monday. The pro-Western kingdom is a member of an international U.S.-led military coalition against IS which controls parts of neighboring Syria and Iraq. The poll says 80 percent of Jordanians surveyed support the coalition, up from 75 percent in 2015....
