Brazil Crisis Deepens as Rousseff Impeachment Vote Annulled

Brazil's political crisis deepened Monday, with the speaker of the lower house of Congress invalidating a vote last month to launch the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff. Interim Speaker Waldir Maranhao said a new vote should be taken on whether to impeach the 68-year-old Brazilian leader. It is not clear why he annulled the earlier overwhelming vote against Rousseff.
