Injury Ends American Skier’s World Cup Bid

Lindsey Vonn says she will end her World Cup skiing season early because of a left knee injury. The American skier is leading in the overall World Cup standings but says she has three fractures that are "significant enough that they are not sufficiently stable to permit me to safely continue skiing."
