Twitter Tweaks Timeline, Lets Hot Tweets Rise

Social media site Twitter is changing the way it displays messages. The microblogging service will now let popular tweets related to people you follow show up first in your timeline, followed by the real-time feed most people on Twitter are used to.   The new "Show me the best tweets first" feature is optional and users can stick with the familiar cascade of chronological tweets if they prefer.
