President Barack Obama urged Americans to stand up against "hatred and bigotry" in remarks Tuesday at a naturalization ceremony in Washington. His statements appeared to be aimed at some leading presidential contenders and other politicians criticized for their anti-Muslim and anti-immigration rhetoric.
