3 Killed as Gunmen Attack Hotel in Mali; 80 Hostages Freed

Eighty hostages held by Islamist gunmen were freed from a luxury hotel in Mali's capital Friday, after militants who shouted Islamic phrases overtook the building, killing at least three of their 170 captives. Malian special forces are moving floor by floor at the Radisson Blu in Bamako in hopes of rescuing the remaining hostages, according to security sources.
