S. African Police Fire Stun Guns at Student Protesters

Police in South Africa used stun grenades to push back students protesting outside government headquarters Friday. Thousands of students gathered at the Union Buildings in Pretoria to demonstrate against planned university tuition hikes. President Jacob Zuma's office said he was meeting separately with protest leaders and education officials in an attempt to defuse the crisis.
