South Carolina residents take to social media as floodwaters rise

In the wake of a historic and devastating flood, South Carolinians are documenting their experiences with rising floodwaters on social media. Some brought out kayaks, canoes and even a wakeboard on flooded roadways. However, authorities are urging residents to stay inside and off the roads as fatalities climbed to nine on Oct. 5.
