French Official Calls for Europe-Wide Volkswagen Investigation

The French foreign minister has called for a Europe-wide investigation into vehicle emissions, after the German Volkswagen company admitted to cheating on U.S. emissions tests. Foreign Minister Michel Sapin said on French radio Tuesday that French carmakers should be tested alongside Volkswagen vehicles, although he said he had no reason to suspect French carmakers of wrongdoing.
