Report: North Korea Shells South Korean Troops

North Korea has fired shells at South Korean troops along the countries' western border, according to a South Korean news report, in the latest flare up of cross-border violence. South Korean defense officials did not immediately confirm the Thursday report by the Yonhap news agency. It is not clear if there were any injuries or damage from the shelling. State-run KBS News quoted a South Korean military official as saying that the North Korean military opened fire at around 4 p.m....
