Earthquake Kills 6 in China's Xinjiang

At least six people were killed and thousands of homes destroyed or damaged Friday when a strong earthquake hit the country's northwest region of Xinjiang, the government and state-run media said. The Xinhua news agency said the 6.4-magnitude earthquake injured at least 48 others.
